A short documentary to give insight in to parkour and the Vancouver community. The film chronicles a group of traceurs training on a massive catalpa tree that was blown down last winter in an intense wind storm.

New Film!
In the Fall of 2006 Zanshin Studios began a project entitled "The Night Time Chronicles". Originally this was supposed to be a lengthy documentary that would explore physical disciplines practiced by unique and talented people in Vancouver. Certain complications (we won't try to give any excuses) made it difficult to continue filming. We tried to gain momentum to start filming again, but the motivation seemed to be gone. Recently we decided to salvage some of the footage, and begin a series of shorter documentaries.
So here is the first in the series...

Nerds of the internet! hear me! It is true what many of you have heard. The emo kids have gathered an army and as I speak that army is drawing nearer to our home. Believe me when I say I have copied and pasted this entire speech, and just added in some other crap to make it sound relevant. And so I stand here before you now truly unafraid! Why?! Because I believe something you do not? No! I stand here without fear because I remember. I remember that I am here not because of the path that lay before me.. but because of the path that lies behind me! I remember that for like two years or so we have brought you countless films and videos! I remember that for years the emos have posted their blogs, sharing their feelings and ignorant visions of the world (as if we cared) in an attempt to destroy us... and after years of war I remember that which matters most! We are still here! Tonight let us send a message to those who wear eye liner! Let us shake this domain! Tonight let us create videos that show action, comedy and creativity! Let us be heard from red core to black sky! Tonight let us make them remember this is Zanshin and we are not afraid!
